Workshop: Carrie Waller, Transparency of Glass and Vibrant Color
If you are a member, please log in to access additional, potentially lower registration fee options.
About this event
Join award winning watercolor artist, Carrie Waller, for a 3-day workshop. Her focus will be on the transparency of glass and the use of vibrant colors. All levels are welcome to paint with Carrie as she breaks down her process and shares step-by-step instruction in a fun and nurturing environment. Carrie will walk you through the process from setting up a still-life through painting that composition. Along the way, she will share award winning tips and techniques. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to paint with one of the best known still life artists around who specializes in the way light travels through and bounces off of glass.
Carrie has said that she is “really inspired by light and how it bounces off things and of course it does some dramatic things to glass. That is why glass has become a huge source of inspiration for many of my paintings.”
