Have you ever wanted to learn more about Plein-Air painting but didn’t know where to start?  Please join us at our Membership meeting on May 12th!  We will begin in the Sanctuary at 7:00 for a shortened demo by Rance Jones.  He will be sharing his award winning tips and stories about his many trips to Cuba.  He recently published a coffee table book with his beautiful paintings inspired by his travels to Cuba and will have some on hand for sale.  

Afterwards, the fun continues in the Watson Hall Gallery space just outside the Sanctuary!  Several of our Members will be available in an “Open House” style event to answer questions about their own plein air experiences, favorite locations, and demonstrating on their personal set-ups. 

In addition, we will have a Silent Auction of past and present members’ donated paintings to bid on.  One of our generous Exhibition 2026 Sponsors, En Plein Air Pro, will be on hand to demonstrate their travel easels.  Lastly, Raffle tickets will be sold at our May Membership Meeting for two lucky winners of $100.00 Blick Art Materials Merchandise Certificates at our May meeting.  Blick Art Materials is another generous Exhibition Merchandise Awards sponsor again this year.
